Injurious George

from genuine human productions

DVD + Digital Album

DVD Feature.

" The film is about George Mitchell, a local man that was in the news and police records on and off in the 70's and 80's. He roamed Nashville stomping on the feet of local women, often causing injury, but nothing serious. He was arrested over 40 times and spent a total of 11-months in jail.

His attacks started after a childhood of theft and other trouble. He first smashed women's feet with bricks and other objects while trying to look like a student on local college campuses. He spent most of his youth in jail and would often attack only moments after being released from jail. He said that it was a compulsion and that he gained no pleasure from doing it. Psychiatrists interviewed by Kalodimos said that it was likely a foot fetish combined with obsessive-compulsive disorder. Around 1985, after 15-years of continuous news and police coverage, George disappeared almost overnight.

After a year of searching, Kalodimos found George and interviewed him. Threatened with hard jail time, it was revealed that George simply left town. He lives a happy, stomp-free life now and cured himself of the urge without the help of anyone or any medication. How did he do it you ask? He went to strip clubs and paid the strippers to let him rub their feet. Living out of state, Kalodimos doesn't reveal his exact location, but does show that he's now a father, grandfather and a modest man that seemed embarrassed talking about the sexual aspects of his crimes with Kalodimos. George's attitude is summed up at the end when she asks him what he wants the people of Nashville to know about him now. His reply, " I don't give a damn what they think."...

Injurious George was a hit at Nashville Independent Film Festival."
